When you talk about S3 I asume you are talking about Amazon S3 Service so just google Amazon S3 service and you'll find many information. I also guess that you are looking for some pricing information in order to make backups to an S3 service, you'll get that info here:

http://aws.amazon.com/es/s3/pricing/

You can simulate how much info will you move daily to this kind of services installing QNAP NetBak software (from QNAP.com downloads) or Fujitsu NetBak Replicator (you can find it on downloads on any Fujitsu CELVIN unit). I recommend you the first one. Once installed you must create a copy task to a remote location (could be somewhere on your own network). Program it late night to repeat each night for exemple and validate the email report on completion of the task. Once done the first copy, you will receive and email each night with the amount of data copied. Leave it running for a couple of weeks and you'll get a close idea of how much it will cost you.

Maybe it's no so problem free and secure as an S3 solution but surely you will realise that maybe to have a CELVIN cabin on a remote location (your own home perhaps), could be a cheaper solution and you could implement many other backup solutions.

Hope that helps you.

I see you are NOT Fujitsu follower mr. Guillermo, and that you haven't heard of Eternus?!
The new Fujitsu Eternus DX S3 is unified SAN storage for enterprise and SMB customers.

Biplab; a lot of information will you find on following links:
http://www.fujitsu.com/global/products/computing/s...
http://www.fujitsu.com/global/support/products/com...
http://storage-system.fujitsu.com/global/tool/powe...
and http://storage-system.fujitsu.com/global/doc/disks...
but I didn't know of any simulator nor online demo systems.

I'm sure that if you contact local partner, they can provide you additional information about Eternus DX S3.

You can also contact me for any hands-on information.

Bye, David.

Surely I'm not an expert on Eternus as you seem cause I normally work on SMB market. So I usually work with CELVIN units, the small poor brother of Eternus. All of them come with an App to make replication to Amazon S3 Cloud Storage Service, something that could be very usefull for remote replication and out of office copies for companies that couldn't handle a couple of Eternus units that could also do that.
You'll agree that talking just about S3 Storage have few clues.
