Hi, some weeks ago I found a close problem with a Packard Bell notebook where we changed also the hard disk. In our case the problem arised when we try to start Windows Live Mail. It showed a supposed calendar problem and refused to open. I get mad with that but I found a solution that maybe could help you cause they tell that the problem could also be found with problems on windows updates or a couple of other things. The real problem was on the SATA controller and some HDs with more than 640GB. Strange but true. Just need to update Intel RAID AHCI controller. In our case Packard Bell only had the driver needed for the original capacity so we went directly to intel. Go into Intel webpage (http://www.intel.com/p/es_XL/support) and let them check for updates. In our case the driver was: RST_11.6.0.1030_RAID_AHCI_driver_GUI_CLI_2012.10.11 Surely you will spend half an hour and at least you will have newer updates and maybe, just maybe, you will solve the problem. Hope that helps you. Of course, as previous said by tcbkr Fujitsu Desktop Update tool it's the tool for updating drivers on any laptop o desktop and you can download directly from Fujitsu support download webpage. Very, very useful.
