Fujitsu Releases “Midsize” 2 in 1 Tablet with Windows 10 Upgrade Option

Users increasingly appreciate the convenience of adopting 2 in 1 devices as an all-around, no compromise alternative to using a tablet and a separate notebook. That's why Fujitsu is further expanding its line-up in the fast-growing segment with the freshly designed STYLISTIC Q665 model based on processors from Intel's Core® M-5Y series.

Along with the new mobile dual-core processors, the FUJITSU Tablet STYLISTIC Q665 features a fanless, thin and light design and is targeted at users who are looking for a balance of performance and mobility in a 2 in 1 device. With its 11.6 inch (29.5 cm) Full HD screen, it perfectly fits into the 'middle slot' between the larger STYLISTIC Q775 and the smaller STYLISTIC Q555, which run on fifth-generation Core i processors or BayTrail SoCs. In short, the STYLISTIC Q665 is a highly competitive device for users who expect Ultrabook-like performance on the one hand and maximum flexibility on the other – with its noiseless design, this tablet easily fits into the even the quietest environments such as libraries or labs while still enabling mobile staff to do anything a road warrior has to do. Other attractive features include:

  • Up to 8 GB of main memory
  • 128, 256 or 512 GB internal storage on OPAL-capable SATA III SSDs (M.2 module included)
  • Full-day battery runtime (11+ hrs.) with fast charge functionality
  • An anti-glare display protected by toughened glass
  • Adaptable input methods for varying usage scenarios: keyboard (attachable), touch and pen
  • Optional 4G/LTE connectivity, combined with GPS
  • Operating system: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit pre-installed, compatible with Windows 7 SP1
  • Optional enterprise-grade security: embedded fingerprint sensor or SmartCard reader, NFC-based SmartCard reader, TPM, EraseDisk functionality, and encrypted drives

For greater comfort when working at shared desks, users will also benefit from Fujitsu's common cradle, which ensures device docking compatibility across the entire 2 in 1 model range, covering three different form factors and a vast number of use cases. Like all client computing devices from Fujitsu, the STYLISTIC Q665 is eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10 once Microsoft starts rolling out its new desktop OS on July 29, 2015.

The FUJITSU Tablet STYLISTIC Q665 is now globally available; prices vary by country and configuration.
