Success in Lisbon: TechCommunity Workshop

130 channel partners from all across Europe, 30 Speakers, 86 workshops, and three keynotes on important topics such as the EU's just-implemented GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing and IoT – this pretty much sums up what happened at this year's TechCommunity Workshop at Lisbon in mid-May.

The event offered a first-time opportunity for channel partners who cover the Data Center, Client Computing Devices and New Digital streams to get together, share experiences, and develop common perspectives. Our agenda combined theme-oriented workshops from in-house experts – covering topics such as servers, storage, workplace systems, integrated solutions, and upcoming technologies like AI and IoT – with insights offered by technology partners including Brocade, Commvault, Intel, Microsoft, NetApp, Citrix, SUSE, Veritas and VMware.

The annual 3-day workshop is part of Fujitsu's SELECT Partner Program, which we are constantly evolving to enable our partners to generate new revenue streams and create innovative business models that provide customers with the infrastructure products, services and support they need. What's more, it also offers an opportunity for pre- and post-sales consultants to brush up their skills and refresh their certifications in areas such as Hybrid Cloud, Data Management, Server and Integrated Systems etc. Like all Fujitsu events, the Lisbon workshop ended with a survey that will help us stay relevant, improve the quality of future activities and tailor them to more closely fit your needs.

The SELECT Partner Program team would like to take the opportunity to thank our guests and their teams for your support and hope your attendance will soon translate into new business opportunities throughout the EMEA region.
