Human-Centric Approach for the Workplace: New Fujitsu Displays

Just in time for this week's Forum, which opens up its gates on Wednesday, Fujitsu has added two top-of-the-line displays for professional scenarios to its growing peripherals portfolio.

FUJITSU Display P24T-7 LED
First in line is the FUJITSU Display P24T-7 LED, the new flagship display that features a patent-applied presence sensor and an integrated call and status indicator which is ideal for use in open plan office environments, providing a gateway to native integration with the next-generation of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C).

Combining the latest in balanced, natural LED lighting technology with the ergonomics of an individually adjustable 24-inch screen with wide-viewing angle, the new premium-line FUJITSU Display P24T-7 LED is a perfect companion for enterprises that have adopted Microsoft Lync as a business-wide collaboration system. Its "no compromise" specification delivers native integration with important UC&C features such as a call and status indicator, meaning that colleagues can see at a glance when a user is on a call or engaged in an online meeting. Two new Fujitsu USB headsets with microphones, designed for comfortable, all-day wear, round out the concept of always available office PCs that will eventually replace conventional telephony solutions.

Fujitsu's focus on Human-Centric Innovation shows through in the small touches. For example, the presence sensor is coupled with a PC lock solution that automatically dims and locks the user's desktop when they move away from their desk for more than 40 seconds. At the same time, the built-in USB port ensures easy connection of peripherals and accessories. As a result, the display provides protection from unauthorized views as well as access to sensitive data and enables substantial energy savings.

FUJITSU Display E22 Touch
Fujitsu also introduces a new 21.5-inch anti-glare display with a robust touchscreen designed for demanding 'front-line' PoS and digital signage environments. The FUJITSU Display E22 Touch (pictured above) supports up to 10-finger touch input when coupled with the latest versions of Microsoft Windows. Its non-glossy screen design maximizes screen clarity and visibility, reduces eye strain, and eliminates the side effects of smeary fingerprints, thus avoiding the most annoying compromises of standard displays. In addition, it boasts USB 3.0 connections, built-in speakers and different position-arrangements, making it a perfect all-rounder as the front end of a checkout, in-store demo point, or reception information hub.

Availability and Pricing
The FUJITSU Display P24T-7 LED is available to order from December, priced at around € 299 (VAT included). The FUJITSU Display E22 Touch is available immediately for € 349. Prices and availability vary by region.
