Gifts for Geeks, Pt. 4: FUJITSU Prestige Case Mini 13

It's the holiday season again, and just like every year, ICT vendors are churning out new compute devices and electronics that sport a certain geek (or nerd) appeal. Far from being a buyer's guide, our little series introduces a few of the most convenient, innovative and useful gadgets to put under the tree.

For reliable notebook protection while travelling, Fujitsu offers its own brand of carrying cases to accommodate a diverse set of tastes, whether your presentee prefers a briefcase, hard-side suitcase, backpack, messenger bag, sleeve or trolley. Mirroring the design language of Fujitsu's hardware portfolio, Fujitsu Carrying Cases offer Business Executive, Business Casual and Exclusive for Infinity styles, to suit the widest possible range of occasions.

Among the latest additions to the roster is our New Prestige Case Mini 13. Designed to protect notebooks (or occasionally tablets and ultrabooks), the case measures 370 x 90 x 300 millimeters and is made of supreme nylon material with extra fine microfibers, resulting in a weight of just 990 grams (2.2 lbs.) – which means it's among the lightest in the more robust Prestige series. Sporting a sleek and practical design for daily use, this bag has dedicated compartments for your notebook, power cord, office supplies and personal items on the front side, while the back half offers a divided, expandable compartment for your files and paperwork. Other features include a padded shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry, a trolley fastening strap at the rear, and a lockable zipper on the notebook compartment that should give thieves a bit of a hard time.

The New Prestige Case Mini 13 is available from several of our European online shops or our Fujitsu channel partners for a list price of about €55, along with other accessories and computing gear from docking stations through keyboards and power cables.
