PRIMEFLEX for Nutanix Enterprise Cloud – the new XF M3 Generation is here!
Based on the Fujitsu Server PRIMERGY RX2530 M6 and RX2540 M6, the first 3rdGen Intel Xeon Scalablebased systems for PRIMEFLEX for Nutanix Enterprise Cloud – XF1070 M3, XF3070 M3, XF8050 M3, XF8055 M3 and XF8055 VDI M3 – are now available.
The new server generation brings several improvements when compared to its predecessor. All XF M3 models will see significant performance and throughput improvements of the 3rd Generation Intel Xeon processors. The increased number of CPU cores (max. 40) allows more VMs per server, while the system delivers an incredibly large amount of memory capacity provided by 32 DIMM slots (up to 10 TB of memory). We are also seeing an important increase in memory, from 3,072 GB in the M2 generation to 4,096 GB in M3.
The improvements don’t stop here, as we can see in the new available models: the XF8050 M3 and XF8055 M3 have an increased GPU support from 4x and 6x low-profile GPU; the XF8050 M3 has a high disk throughput due to 3x PSAS CP503i instead of expander usage.
