In the CELSIUS R970, each processor supports up to 1.0 TB of DDR4 memory at a faster memory clock of 2933 MHz. Depending on the CPU chosen, the CELSIUS R970 can support 4.0 TB of memory when combined with the new Intel® Optane technology. Whichever way you slice it, the Fujitsu CELSIUS R970 delivers high-capacity memory at faster speeds and brings huge data sets closer to the CPU for faster processing of demanding workloads.

The goal of the Intel® Optane persistent memory is to add a large amount of runtime memory for applications with large data sets at an affordable cost. As the name implies, it is non-volatile memory. This can save workstation users time after a reboot because reloading a very large data set is much faster as the Intel® Optane memory does not need to reload the data from an SSD drive. Essentially, Intel® Optane technology bridges the gap between fast system memory and SSD storage, providing multiple benefits to workstation users.

The new generation of NVIDIA® Quadro RTX™ professional graphics cards, with NVIDIA’s new Turing GPU architecture, delivers more graphics power than ever. This new GPU architecture for the Quadro RTX products has major advances in efficiency and performance. Its architecture combines graphics processing and artificial intelligence inferencing into a single graphics pipeline, which brings real-time raytracing to workstations for the first time.
